Description

This painting, created by Edgar Degas around 1872, depicts a ballet dancer with her arms crossed. The painting is done in oil on canvas and measures 505mm in width and 613mm in height. It is currently located at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, having been bequeathed by John T. Spaulding. The painting is stamped with Degas’ name in the lower left corner.
