Description
Mitsuke: 18 km to Hamamatsu is a woodblock print created by Katsushika Hokusai in 1804. The print depicts a view of Mitsuke, a post town on the Tokaido Road, which was the main route between Edo (modern-day Tokyo) and Kyoto during the Edo period. The print is part of the Ajinomoto Foundation for Dietary Culture collection.
